On Sunday, March 1, His Eminence Frank Cardinal Leo visited St. Mark’s Parish in Stouffville, Ont.

Celebrating the 11 a.m. Mass, he delivered a powerful homily speaking on faith, family and forgiveness. He also spoke about living an abundant life (John 10:10).

“With God and faith, it’s always about life,” said Cardinal Leo. “That’s why one of my favourite phrases of the Bible is John 10:10: I have come that you might have life and life in abundance…That eternal life begins on earth living the abundant life of Jesus.”

The church was packed – alongside 100 people participating in the Mass in the parish hall and via livestream at home. Following Mass, Cardinal Leo joined parishioners for fellowship in the parish hall.

The Cardinal’s visit was an inspiration to the parish community and encouraged those in attendance practice their faith and to share it with others – especially the youth.
