As part of an ongoing tradition in the Archdiocese of Toronto, a new season of Lectio Divina with Cardinal Thomas Collins will begin September 9. Link to details here.

The 2018-2019 theme is Christian Community: Stewards of the Mission.

Through Baptism, we individually begin our life in Christ, but we do so by entering the community of His disciples and apostles, entrusted with his mission on earth. The New Testament offers us several passages that illuminate what it means to be disciples of Jesus, filled with the Spirit, and living in an evangelizing Christian community.

One Sunday evening each month all are welcome to join Cardinal Collins for Lectio Divina at St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica.

We begin with music by the Cathedral Vespers Choir at 6:45 p.m., Vespers (Evening Prayer) at 7 p.m., and Lectio Divina from 7:30 to 8:15 p.m.

LIVESTREAM: Lectio Divina is livestreamed via the St. Michael's Cathedral Basilica website at www.stmichaelscathedral.com/live

New this year, Lectio Divina will also be live at select local parishes via web conferencing.
