Baptism Preparation

Baptism is one of the Seven Sacraments of the Catholic Church; frequently called the "first sacrament" as it is the gateway to the rest of the sacraments.

Through Baptism we are freed from sin and reborn as children of God; we become members of the mystical body of Christ, are incorporated into the Church and made sharers in her mission: "Baptism is the sacrament of regeneration through water in the word. (CCC: 1213)"

To have your child baptized you will need to be a member of our parish or live within our boundaries. If you are not a member, we will require you to fill out a registration form. This will be found in the Baptism package which you will need to pick up from the church or email and we can send it to you. You will need to read all the information and fill out the forms to be returned to the parish. If you have not had a child baptized in this parish, you will be required to meet with one of the priests for a Baptism Preparation class.  After your attendance, a date may be set for the Baptism.

Baptisms are twice a month on Sundays at 2:00 p.m.
